Clockwork Orange is a notoriously violent film, that was withdrawn for public showing by the Director Stanley Kubrick.

The film could actually still be seen by adults all over the world – apart from England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

The ban only applied to the UK, as Kubrick considered our society to be too inherently violent for any art-form that might provoke further violence. 

He was concerned by newspaper reports of  ’copycat’ attacks after the release of Clockwork Orange.

He also received death threats, and was advised by British police to withdraw the film for his own safety!

At the moment if I had to rely on Internet Marketing for my income I would starve. But despite this I am enjoying every second of it.

Firstly I have complete freedom to do whatever I want, whenever I want. Secondly there is a mass of new things to learn, so much in fact, that it would be impossible to know everything. I like that, there are new challenges every day.

Blogs are SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) friendly but WordPress can’t guess what your keywords are, you need to tell it. The main keywords to use are when you place your post into a category. Sometimes you may write a post that falls into two categories, so which one should you choose?

Why not choose both? I have recently started painting and the images are of superhero comics, and music LP covers. Naturally I placed the posts into my comics or music categories. However that meant that my paintings were now split up, so I created a new category for ‘oil paintings on canvas’.

Unfortunately if you like alcohol, hangovers are part of the deal. I prefer drinking real ale, especially ’session’ beers with an alcoholic strength of around 3.7%.  These beers are weak enough to avoid bad hangovers, (unless you consume vast quantities of course)!

Recently my brother arranged a ‘Risk and Rioja’ night at his house; Playing the Waddington’s board game Risk, while drinking Spanish red wine. We had a few pints of Timothy Taylor Landlord bitter first which was really lovely, then we hit the red wine.

I have sold the majority of my childhood comic collection, but have regained pleasure from comics by painting some of my favorite covers.

I used to draw and paint entirely by eye, which involved a lot of rubbing out. However I don’t see the point of this now, when I can easily trace the image I want, which just leaves me to concentrate on the painting.

When choosing a niche to exploit it’s best to pick something you have a personal interest in, that way you instinctively know what would appeal to your customers – because you’re one!

I earned a good living for 30 years out of my interest in real ale. I organised coach holidays to beer festivals in Belgium, Holland and Germany. However Tour Operations need staff, and this is a responsibility I no longer want. There are better products and markets that require only one employee – yourself!

Atom Heart Mother has always been my favourite Pink Floyd album, even though the members of  the band are rather embarrassed by the pomposity of  it. However I’m not the only one who thinks this is a great soundscape.  

“If you were to ask anyone to name a Pink Floyd LP their immediate reaction would no doubt be Dark Side of The Moon or The Wall (- two very superb LPs). However, I can’t remember the last time I heard anyone mention this LP, which is a shame…but in that respect it makes Atom Heart Mother a true gem; something that is overshadowed in many ways yet shines through, in my opinion, perhaps more than many other acclaimed Pink Floyd work.

Eat Breakfast………That’s it………If you want to lose weight - eat breakfast. Simple isn’t it?……….But I bet you aren’t doing this!  It’s a bet I would make money on :O)

Every time you write a post make sure you also add Tags. I have only recently started doing this, and have noticed an immediate increase in visitors.

When writing your blog post, look on the right hand side and you will see a section ‘Post Tags’, just add the words that are unique to your post.

When writing posts to your blog make sure you place each article in a category. If you get used to doing this automatically every time  you post, it will save you time and trouble later.

The category is another keyword for the search engines to look at, so this will help your page rankings. However you should categorize your posts not just for SEO (Search Engine Optimisation)  reasons, but simply to help you and your visitors find all related information on your blog.

If you don’t know how to place your post inside a category, just follow these 3 steps; (1)Go to your WordPress Dashboard at www.YOURDOMAIN.com/wp-admin/  Click ‘Posts’ on the left hand side then Click ‘Add New’.
