Internet Marketing Sales & Income SEPTEMBER 2009

September has been quite a frustrating month as far as sales and income goes – there’s nothing more frustrating than a big fat Zero! I seem to have been busy all month but have not really produced anything. Instead I have loads of half-finished projects all over the place. (Note to self: I must get more focused).

I haven’t written much for my blog this month, and must get back into the habit of posting regularly. I have started a new beginners group for coaching at the running track, which means I now produce 4 different track sessions each week, from 4,000 metres up to 8,000 metres.

The Power of Advertising

Every Thursday I coach a group of 10/12 runners at the track in Leamington Spa. They are training to improve their speed for races from 10k up to a Marathon. It’s hard work. Most road runners wouldn’t dare set foot on a track.

I have been doing this regularly for 5 years now, and I always see the same faces. Dawn suggested that I should e-mail all 100 club members to encourage new people to come along. So I sent the following:Track Race finish line

The Rules of Cricket

Once a week I go cycling in the countryside with a friend. We cycle about 30 miles and visit 2 or 3 pubs. It’s my favourite day of the week. :-)

Recently I visited the Friendly Inn, Frankton, Warwickshire, and noticed a plaque on the wall defining the rules of cricket. It was so good, I copied it down for this post.

If you’ve every been slightly confused by the rules of cricket, here they are in simple form:Cricket

You have 2 sides out in the field, one in and one out.
