The adverts you see next to this post are from Clickbank. They pay around 50% commission, instead of cents per click from Google. If you haven’t already got these ads on your blog, go to Clickbank.com and download the script to your wordpress dashboard.

Apart from the high commission, another reason I like Clickbank is that you can change the colour scheme of the adverts, so they are compatible with your blog colours. My blog colours are blue and yellow, so I’ve changed the background colour of the adverts to yellow, and the headline text to blue.

Here’s how you do it;

1) Go to your Wordpress dashboard and click Appearance.
2) Click Editor.
3) Select your Wordpress Theme (mine is Prosense Blue).
4) click Adsense Sidebar.

5) Make sure you have the code for Adsense Sidebar.
6) Change the font and background colour codes to suit your blog theme.

If your not sure of the colour codes you need, you can find them in Dreamweaver:

7) Go to a Dreamweaver file and click Properties.
8 ) Click the arrow on Bg (Background) and a grid of colours will appear.
9) Hover your cursor over the colour you want.
10) The colour you chose is shown at the top.
11)  The colour code is shown next to it. Write the exact colour code down and insert this into your Clickbank adverts.
