I’m not sure how the arrows appeared but I have since written a post on “how to delete annoying arrows on blog links”. You need to go the blogs dashboard – settings – external links, uncheck the second box for external links.

I’m pretty sure it is a plugin, better double check all of them that you have installed to know which one is really causing the trouble.

Interesting article. Were did you got all the information from? Did you type it yourself or you copy it from elsewhere?
Thanks Michael. This is all my own work. The arrows annoyed me so much I had a good look around the WordPress Dashboard until I found the solution.....Actually all of my posts are original work. John
