Bush and Blair; Unconvicted War Criminals

The election of President Obama has restored my faith in the USA and given hope to the world. Only now with this new positive outlook for the future do I feel able to unleash my rage about the Invasion  of Iraq.

What follows is my personal view and memory of past events, I have not checked any of the facts, but I believe all of the following;

1) The war against Iraq was Illegal.
2) America was going to invade Iraq no matter what Saddam Hussein did or didn’t do.
3) Blair knew the war was illegal, and tried to delay Bush’s invasion plans until a 2nd UN Resolution was secured.
4) Out of misplaced loyalty to Bush, Blair agreed to support the Invasion despite not having the required 2nd UN resolution.
5) Although the Invasion was pre-determined, the British Army had to go through the pretence of only making logistical preparations ’in the event’ of a war.
6) This meant British soldiers did not have enough equipment, particularly body armour. British soldiers died unnecessarily, to keep up Blair’s political pretence that war was not inevitable.
7) Both Bush and Blair firmly believe in God, and Blair himself has said that he was doing Gods will. Political leaders with firm religious beliefs are dangerous.
8 ) Blair knew about the USA torture policy, and co-operated with it. Extradition flights would have been much more difficult, without the refueling stops in Scotland that Blair allowed.
9) Blair is currently choosing his language very carefully to try and deny his knowledge of this.
10) A public Inquiry is now underway in the UK, and I hope Blair is brought to open court to explain his actions.

I don’t normally like to discuss politics in public, but this is just too important to ignore. I would welcome any comments, particularly from the USA, as I only observed the events unfolding from England.

  4. Hi John,
We really had no choice when we elected Obama. He was the only choice. But, I hesitate to get ahead of things because we still don’t know what he will produce. As of now..it’s all words. I will not say he is doing a great job until he has proven himself.
Fortunate or unfortunate for me…I do too much reading on the net and things I dug up about Obama made me quite nervous. I still think they are all tied in together and we really don’t “elect” anyone. I believe they are “selected” by the power elite…those that control the world. The Bilderbergs, Trilateral Commission and Council on Foreign Affairs.
If you want some great reading and study…go and look up Rothchilds. That will certainly open your eyes! Here’s a youtube video to get you started…

If you really want to know who is control of the world…I say…”follow the money trial!”
As you can see, you tapped into one of my passions! I may ever post about this because I feel so strongly about it.
    Thanks for reminding me…;)

Hello Kathy, I know what you mean about feeling too passionate about something. I feel better having 'let off steam', but I dare not write about this again; like you I just feel too strongly about it.
I watched the video, - very interesting and no real surprise, money will always attain power. :-)

  5. I am one person who thought the war was absolutly ridiculous the whole time. In my opinion Bush did what he did because it was unfinished business from when his Father was president, and I think that is crap.
I agree with you entirely. John
