There are plenty of beautiful places nearby, and I like to have a run in the countryside most days. I have run 17 marathons and my best time was in the 1995 London marathon, finishing in 2 hours 41 minutes.

I have been self-employed most of my life and was successful in business with a direct-mail company, turning over more than £1 million annually. I am now hoping to learn how to sell products over the Internet, and have enrolled on the excellent  ‘Internet Marketing Masterclass’ by John Thornhill. This blog is my first project.

I intend to give an honest day-to-day  account of starting a new business on-line. All the thrills and spills will be here, the highs and lows, the successes and failures. With an up-front account of how much money is made, (or lost) as the case may be.
