Ezine Articles Expert Author
YIPPEE!! – My first article with Ezine has been accepted, and I am now an “expert” author. I was so proud of my new title I looked it up on Ezine – …………… EVERYONE becomes an expert once their article is accepted.

I was slightly disappointed when I discovered this, but then smiled to myself – what a great motivational gesture by Ezine Articles, and it didn’t cost them a penny.
My article was “Why do you want to Run Marathons?” - the best thing about it was, the only new part was the title.
All I did was combine two old blog posts ‘London Marathon 26th April 2009′ and ‘You can compete with World Champions’. I always intended to use old blog posts for my articles, but it’s nice when a plan comes together.
I will be using my ‘running’ posts to submit articles, but I don’t expect them all to fit together so easily.
Hopefully I will just have to write one new paragraph, to knit together two different posts and make it flow.
This article writing plan seems to be working, and I’m now confident that I shall be starting my eBook sooner than I expected.
All I’m going to do is submit loads of marathon running articles, then when I’ve got enough, I will use them as the basis of my eBook. Simple.
It’s really great when plans work out.

Before I submitted an article to ezine I always wondered ”What does somebody have to do to become ‘expert author’ ” I didn’t realize it was as simple as submitting one article. Welcome to the club!

Thanks Aaron – It’s great being an ‘expert author’ isn’t it.
Actually the ‘expert author’ moniker put me off submitting articles for a while, I thought I would have to work hard to get expert status.
Work is a four letter word that doesn’t suit me.

Congrats on getting out there and getting on Ezine.
Really good idea to take your old blog posts and put them to use in new ways. And then to use those articles and make an ebook. Good idea!

Thanks Darren, Being lazy I tend to come up with all sorts of short-cut. Blog post – Articles – eBook seems to be working so far.
Good luck with the 100 comment challenge Darren.

Hi John
Well done on your ezine success and it’s a great idea to use blog posts. That’s my next project as soon as I get my next niche site up and running.
I think you may have it a winner with an ebook on marathon running, especially with your experience and the size of the market. Best of luck with it.
Regards
Bill

Thanks Bill. There’s definitely a huge demand for marathon training advice; I’ve always got mine from bookshops and running magazines though.
I will be interested to see your new niche site – It’s thanks to you I have re-installed Market Samurai for niche market research.
Best Wishes.

Hi John, I found your name in the “gems of the 100 blog comments challenge-part-1″ and you’re no. 16 there. I think this is evident enough that your indeed an expert author. One thing I’ve learned in your blog, there’s a gem in recycling.

Hello Vince, Thanks for the good news.
I haven’t found the “Gems of the 100 blog comments challenge” yet. It’s nice to be number 16 out of a 100, but like my teacher always said; “Could do better”.
You’re right Vince, there certainly is a gem in recycling. There’s nothing new under the sun, just different spins on the same topic.

You must be smart enough to have come up with fresh ideas. Recycling, is not that easy too. Even the articles are already lying in from of you but still you still have to go through a deep thinking on how to combine them and come up with a new one. Sounds really interesting.

I find using my OWN articles easy Charlotte, because they are all my own words and thought processes.
However I have tried re-writing PLR articles and THAT is much harder. It’s someone else’s words and thoughts.
I found it takes longer to change them, than it would have done for me to write a brand new article from scratch.
