How to Create a Website Fast!

X SitePro is really easy to use. It’s so easy I thought I could create a website in a day, and decided to put it to the test
I registered a new domain name on Thursday. (A new domain name can take up to 24 hours before it’s ready to use), and I wanted to create the new site on Friday.
First thing Friday Morning I started. I had no preparation, and not a single word written. 5 hours later my new website was ready and live on the Internet. The website only took 3 hours to create, but I spent 2 hours trying to upload it!
I kept getting error messages and couldn’t work out what was wrong? Eventually I phoned my hosting company 1&1 on their help line. They solved it in minutes….I had named my home page as home.html which seemed logical to me. But all websites need a page called index.html otherwise the site doesn’t work.
So I changed my home page to index.html uploaded the site, and BINGO there it was.
Now I know about this ‘index.html’ issue, the next website will be a lot easier! 3 hours from start to finish will be no problem.
I was very happy with the way the site turned out, and it was already better than anything I could have produced with Dreamweaver.
Now the site is live on the web X SitePro makes it very easy to change and improve the design. I have added a blog since the first day, but here is my new site: www.personaltrainerleamingtonspa.co.uk
I can’t recommend X SitePro highly enough, it’s really intuitive to use, and has an on-line ‘knowledgebase’ if you ever get stuck. If you are not very technical, and get other people to create your websites, X SitePro is a much cheaper option and puts YOU in control!

Wow John…Your site looks great! Sounds like X Site Pro is a winner. I love all the color schemes you use. You can tell you are an artist!
Thanks for the heads up on the software John,

Glad you like the colours Kathy. I hadn't connected those with my paintings, but perhaps you're right, it must be the artist inside me.
Thanks for stopping by. John

Just find some time Mandy, (If that's possible)! Don't bother with the template. Start from scratch and just play with all the features. At the end of a week you will be able to build your own website.
