How to use your Own Artwork Payment Button with PayPal
Installing payment buttons on your website through PayPal is easy, as long as you use their payment buttons.
However if you have your own artwork, or have a ready made sales page that you want to use with payment buttons provided, I have found PayPal’s instructions to be unclear.
So here is how you do it:
(1)Go to the Pay Pal site and click Merchant Services then
(2) click Buy Now Buttons

(3) Click Create Your Button Now

(4) Click the No: Create a “Buy Now” Button, Enter your product details, price and currency, then
(5) click Customise Appearance

(6) Click ‘Use Your Own Button Image’.

(7)Enter the exact web address where your button artwork is located. PayPal doesn’t accept special characters like back-slash(\), so replace these with a full stop. Your web address should look something like this: http://www.helpviahypnosis.com.index.bluebutton.gif

(8) Click ‘Save Changes’ at the bottom which will generate the code.
(9) Choose the ‘email’ tab.

(10) Click ‘Select Code’copy and paste the code into your web editing software such as Dreamweaver or Microsoft’s Frontpage.

(11)Paste the Paypal email code into your button Link. Upload to the Internet and you can now accept payments…..Hope this helps.

I'm not that good Mandy - but I'm always looking for work! :-)JohnHi John, what a brilliant post.
I often have to explain to people about payment buttons and how to create them. In fact I had to tell someone today where to find the function on paypal. I’m now going to email him again with a link to this post.
Fantastic John, keep up the great content.
Respect & Regards

Thanks Barry, glad to be of assistance. I did this post to help myself as well! :-) Although I had completed a website with my own artwork buttons last year, I had completely forgotten how I did it!, and like I said, Paypal isn't very clear. If I forget again I will just follow my own step-by-step instructions. :-)JohnInteresting, I`ll quote it on my site later.
