Internet Marketing Sales & Income June 2009
Concentrated this month on my blog at www.johnmcnally54.com writing daily posts, or at least one post every 2 days. I have not started my eBook under John Thornhill’s ‘Masterclass’ course, however I’m hoping that regularly writing on my blog will get my creative juices flowing.
One side benefit I had not anticipated, was realising how much I enjoyed writing about comics. In the past I had created oil paintings on canvas of various comic scenes, and after researching the internet I realised there is a market for ‘Popart’.
I now have 13 paintings at various stages of production. (Cleaning paint brushes is a hassle, so when I’m using a colour I like to put it on as many canvases as possible!).

Very busy painting, so my ‘Selling on eBay’ project is on the back-burner. I have one eBay affiliate website which I intend to have live by next month. I’m not advertising my websites anywhere, but I have just received a £50 voucher for Google Adwords, so I may give this a go. Good month otherwise – actually made a sale via Google, total income for June £73.97.

Hi John,
Great way you keep track of everything. I should learn by your example. I am astounded to have earned $13 from adsense!! A long way to go before they send me a cheque though! I’m glad to hear you are painting. What about an ebook about comics?? Just a thought.
Enjoy the journey.
Mandy
I didn't keep a track of anything Mandy, until I realised I needed some material for this post! I have two 'imaginary' eBooks; one on 'marathon training', and one on 'collecting comics', as you suggested.......$13 on Adsense!! Well done Mandy, at least that isn't imaginary.

Hi John,
Loved your post about keeping up with your blog. Thanks for sharing your stats with us. Now that I have my sales page nearly done…and, I have a lot more time on my hands I plan on paying much more attention to my blog. The more pages we have…the more Google notices! I am going to have so many pages, Google will have to notice!
How did you put a background color behind your ads? I realize those are clickbank ads instead of Adsense. I have so much to learn!
I’ll be back…
Kathy
Hello Kathy, Sorry for the delay replying - I have been on holiday, and also I'm painting a lot now.
I have forgotten how I did those clickbank ads with a yellow background, but I will look into it and write a separate post with step-by-step instructions......If you are writing loads of posts make sure each one is in a category and has tags, it helps the search engines, and you will end up with more comments. Keep up the good work.John[Reply]
There is obviously a lot to know about this. I think you made some good points in Features also.
Thanks, glad you liked it.

Hi John,
As a painter, its good to know that Popart has gained market these days. I would like you to provide me some suggestions for posting the paintings in my blog.
Hello, All you need to do is take a digital photograph of your paintings, crop them in photoshop if needed, and save as a jpeg file on your Desktop. Then simply upload the jpeg to your blog. If you're not sure how, have a look at adding pictures and links to your blog. Hope this helps.John[Reply]
Definitely worth the read
It's all uncensored!
