This is so interesting! I just heard Michael Jackson died and I thought of his relationship with his family while I was reading this piece you wrote (I know, my mind works in very strange ways!). You're not the only one finding strange connections Mandy. After writing this post I remembered that Art Spiegelman was living near the Twin Towers when they were attacked on 9/11. He wrote another graphic novel called "No Towers" (which I may write a post on), but it started me thinking politically, and I ended up with a rant against Bush and Blair.
