Thank you for such an interesting post. Beer is a big thing in Germany as well, and my fellow Germans get very testy about &#039;their&#039; beer :-) Now that I so far away I miss all the intricate beer varieties ... for starters, in the US all beer is served without the wonderful foam ... yikes ...

I have had many enjoyable holidays in Germany and like the way barmen cut the top off their foaming beer with a knife. Good to hear from another beer enthusiast; pity that America hasn&#039;t really got the right idea about this.&lt;/em&gt; &lt;strong&gt;John&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/code&gt;</description>
